Vascular Sonographer (PD) Tech II

Registered Vascular SonographerOverlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Vascular Sonographer to perform high-quality Vascular exams using IAC-accredited protocols- LE, UE Venous, Carotid, and PVR. Ensures patient safety, comfort, and education throughout procedures. Collaborates with physicians and team members to support diagnostic accuracy and continuous quality improvementEssential Function/Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive vascular exams.Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort.Accurately document and report findings in a timely manner.Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and team members.Maintain equipment and exam rooms per infection control standards.Participate in lab quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.Attend required meetings, in-services, and training sessions.Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, and a commitment to continuous learning.Experience in Epic and Change Health software preferred.Minimum Education:High School Graduate or equivalentGraduate of an accredited CVT school with focus on vascular sonography (CAAHEP accredited preferred).Skills and Qualification:Credentialed with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification required.Candidates with a minimum of one-years' experience in the field are preferred.Excellent customer service skills with patient focus required.
