Job Title Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location McKinney, TX Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 29, 2026 Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a 37-bed Level 2 Trauma Emergency Department Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio within assigned zone Operate GE monitoring equipment and document using MediTech EMR Collaborate with charge nurses, fellow RNs, and paramedic/tech staff across day and mid-shift teams Float to support ED patients admitted to in-hospital holding within the ED as needed Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; no on-call requirement Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications High-caliber patient experience and communication skills Ability to commit to the full 13-week contract with minimal time-off requests (note: time off cannot be approved mid-June through mid-July) Preferred Experience / Skills Prior experience with MediTech EMR HCA facility background or familiarity with HCA system workflows High energy, self-motivated, and team-oriented personality well-suited to a fast-paced ED environment Why Join Us Join a well-staffed Level 2 Trauma ED with a structured team model and consistent patient ratios ASAP start available for qualified candidates ready to hit the ground running #J-18808-Ljbffr TravelNurseSource
