Licensed Practical Nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse North Dakota State Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse in Jamestown, ND. Sign on bonus available. We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and temporary positions with various shifts available. Responsibilities Deliver quality nursing care to clients by administering medications and treatment. Provide medication lessons to clients. Identify clients' needs through interviewing and observation and assess them to ensure appropriate care. Transcribe physicians' orders and complete requisitions for medications. Participate in development, implementation, and revision of nursing care plans and complete all necessary documentation. Investigate and assess clients' complaints and follow through appropriately. Delegate responsibilities to Direct Care Associates. Qualifications Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (or registration in another state and meet eligibility requirements for licensure in ND). Strong communication skills, both effective and considerate. Desire to assist and support others.
