Member Specialist

Member Specialist Provides professional customer service to members and insureds, supports agents and other personnel, and helps grow field sales within a branch. The role includes sales of memberships and insurance products, documentation, payments, and cross‑selling opportunities. Job Duties Provide professional customer service to members and insureds through walk‑in, phone, and online channels. Assist in the sale of memberships and insurance products. Manage policy changes, renewals, billing inquiries, and payment processing. Verify insurance coverage for lien holders and leasing companies. Prepare and submit binders and other supporting documentation. Execute administrative tasks such as typing letters, forms, cards and evidence of insurance. Develop insurance leads for office sales agents and life specialists. Maintain positive relationships with management, sales, and life agents. Resolve member or insured related issues, escalating when necessary. Follow sales and underwriting guidelines for routine and complex transactions. Qualifications High School diploma or GED. 1‑3 years of customer service experience (preferred). Moderate proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred). Property and Casualty/Solicitors License required; valid Property and Casualty Insurance License in the selling state issued within 1 year of employment.
