Job Title: Commissioning Director – Data Center Construction
Location: United States (Midwest area focus but domestic travel is required)

This is a rare opportunity to help shape and lead Boldt’s commissioning program within our growing data center market, partnering with high-performing teams to define the standard for how critical systems are delivered, integrated, and turned over.

In this role, you’ll lead the development and execution of commissioning strategies for hyperscale data center projects—bringing together engineers, trade partners, owners, and commissioning agents to ensure seamless integration of mission-critical MEP systems. You’ll influence everything from commissioning procedures and schedules to quality, safety, and final system turnover—while building a program that will scale across projects and regions.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $210,000 -$250,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in engineering, construction management or related field is required. An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Ten or more years’ experience in Critical Systems Commissioning with a focus on data center construction. Experience to include completions verifications, startup management, script development and adherence, collaboration with an Energy Marshall program to safely perform commissioning and turnover of critical equipment lineups and systems.
• Ability to develop, write and execute detailed Commissioning Scripts with project stakeholders.
• 75-100% domestic travel is required.
• Ability to direct the process of Issue Identification and drive Resolution Management.
• Ability to apply innovative management techniques to inspire and empower teams to produce desired results.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in 0365 office suite.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with different commissioning platforms such CxAlloy.
• Experience integrating commissioning into large-scale program delivery.
• Background in developing training or commissioning playbooks.
