The Program Coordinator will drive program attendance, demonstrate initiative, and develop creative strategies to attract and retain participants. Qualifications: Experience working in a leadership or supervisory capacity in an afterschool, day camp, or youth-based organization. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with School District staff, public officials, private sector officials, parents, and community leaders. Familiarity with quality criteria for expanded learning programming is highly desirable. Ability to develop and execute programs that accommodate diverse learning styles and interests. Experience working in ethnic and culturally diverse communitiesis highly desirable Ability to communicate (verbal and written communication) effectively in a team environment. Respond to critical incidents and act promptly in an emergency situation. Respond promptly to any and all incidents, using ASAS-LA protocols.
