Machine Technician - 2nd Shift

Entegris is currently seeking a Machine Technician to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division in San Luis Obispo, CA.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related toproducing components used in ourOEM assemblies . This position will fabricate various stainless-steeltubesper engineeringdrawings andspecifications. This mayinclude cutting, facing,bending,and de-burring . These tasks will be accomplishedbyusing vertical bandsaws, CNCtube bend equipment, porta band saws, roto bur tools, files, tube facing tools andvarious hand tools and measuring equipment .This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions.

***This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday - Friday, 3pm-11:30pm .

What You'll Do:

• Works from instructions, drawings, and lists of various tube diameters and lengths with supervision.
• Use SAP to print drawings and tube cut lists.
• Cut, prepare, and bend tubes per drawings.
• Ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Follow engineering specifications to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Performs routine, repetitive operations and processes to produce quality and accurate products in a timely manner.
• Complete 6S responsibilities (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain, safety).
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and maintain or increase On-Time Shipments.
• Ability to work safely and recognize the safety of others.
• Provide accuracy and consistency in work performance.
• Learn proper measuring techniques, tool use, care, and quality standards.
• Work with a team as well as independently when needed.
• Create a healthy and safe work environment for all employees.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What We Seek:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years' experience in cutting de-burring and cleaning tubing and fittings.
• Ability to learn to navigate through our ERP system to find, drawings and instructions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to50lbsdaily.
• Abilitybeon your feet for extended periods of time.
• Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
• Ability to learn howto handlematerial responsibly.
• Dependability and flexibility to workovertimeandweekends to support business needs.

• Compensation: $22-24 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role.
