Beloit Health System is looking to add a Per Diem CT Technologist to our Team!Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd availableSchedule: Varies depending on shift chosenHours per week: Varied - Per DiemBenefits Status: Not EligibleDepartment: CTIn this position the CT Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities as prescribed by a physician, performs radiologic and other related imaging procedures, producing images for interpretation by a physician, and apply principles of radiation protection. The CT Technologist will evaluate radiographs for technical quality, and exercise professional judgement in the performance of procedures.Performs diagnostic radiographic servicesOperates imaging equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriateApplies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to the patient, self, and othersEvaluates radiography for technical quality and patient identification.Assumes responsibility for provision of physical and psychological needs patients during proceduresAdministers or assists with administration of contrast media, as required.Assists physician with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional radiography proceduresEnsures proper documentationPerforms quality control checks as required.Maintains accurate patient records and files with confidentiality, performing all PACs functionsAssumes responsibility for portions of department QA/QI programSupervises, assists, instructs, and communicates effectively with radiology studentsJOB REQUIREMENTSGraduate of accredited Radiography schoolCurrent WI Radiographer license and ARRT CertificationCT Certification preferred upon hire (required within one year of training completion)CPR certification within 90 daysKeeps personal medical information about patients confidentialReporting Relationship: Director and Clinical Manager of Radiology ServicesApply to join our team today!
