About the Position

Job Opportunity – Pediatric Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: November 2, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, 0700-1730, Monday through Friday with on-call responsibilities (weeknight 1x per week Monday-Thursday, weekend 1x every 6-8 weekends, and holidays as operationally needed)

Highlights:

• Pediatric operating room setting at a Magnet-designated facility with Level I Pediatric Trauma Center
• Kidney transplant experience required; work with specialized pediatric surgical cases
• Experience required in pediatric OR, ambulatory OR, and pediatric trauma
• Epic electronic medical record system
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services and pharmacy
• 32-hour orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• PALS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute care pediatric operating room experience within the last 3 years
• Level I and Level II trauma experience required
• Kidney transplant experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass telemetry assessment with strict criteria (both adult and pediatric exams)
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Ability to float as needed
