The desired candidate will be a dependable team-oriented individual with a strong focus on maintaining a high level of safety, quality, and productivity.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the FollowingPack aluminum extrusions into boxes or crates with regard to shape, color, and quality as required by orderEnter order data into computerComplete all required quality checks of materialsApply correct shipping labels to boxesPack brake metal radius, flat sheet, and non-standard items as required by the orderClean packing area to ensure a clean and safe environmentMaintain a high level of safety awareness within the departmentQualifications and Skill RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED (minimum) Manufacturing or warehousing experience preferred Good Math/Computer skills Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs. during shift Must be able to lift, stand, bend, and move for extended periodsAt YKK AP America, Inc., pay is only part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The hourly pay range for this position ranges from $17.06 to $19.23, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.Travel Requirements: The travel required for this position is 1%.Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
