We’re hiring an Industrial Electrician with a Journeyman Electrician license to support our highly automated manufacturing facility, creating Battery Energy Storage solutions for a cleaner future. The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime. This role requires expertise in both mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a strong focus on industrial automation, PLCs, robotics, and high-speed manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with servo drives, vision systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and industrial networking technologies to support production operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues on production and plant equipment efficiently. Performpreventative and predictive maintenanceto minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot and maintainPLCs, servo drives, industrial robots, and vision systems. Install, troubleshoot, and repairelectrical control systems, including motors, relays, drives, 3-phase power, and communication devices. Maintain and troubleshoothydraulic and pneumatic systemsused in manufacturing processes. Read and interpretmechanical and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manualsfor troubleshooting and repairs. Performroot-cause analysisand corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. UseCMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)to document work, track maintenance activities, and report failures. Assistingcontinuous improvement projects, modifications, and equipment upgrades. Adhere to allsafety regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Certified Journeyman License Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial machinery in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in PLCs, automation, and robotic systems. Ability to diagnose and repair servo drives, industrial sensors, power transmission systems, and industrial networking (Ethernet/IP, ProfNet, etc.). Proficiency in using hand tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform basic fabrication, welding, and machining when necessary. Strong understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO), NFPA 70E electrical safety, and OSHA regulations. Must be comfortable working overtime and flexible shifts as needed to support operations. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, hot/cold conditions).
