Account Executive or Senior Account Executive — Press & Influencer (Beauty)
Juliette Group
About JGroup
JGroup is a fast-growing boutique communications and marketing agency representing some of the most recognized names in beauty from cult-fave indie darlings to billion-dollar brands. Our work spans brand strategy, media relations, events, and influencer and creator partnerships. We are a tight-knit, fast-moving team that prides itself on relationship-led work, sharp strategy, and an unmatched standard of execution.
The Role
We are hiring an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our team in a hybrid role spanning press and influencer. This is a critical seat for someone who can operate on client accounts with confidence and autonomy across both earned media and creator partnerships, landing top-tier press hits one day and architecting a creator campaign the next. You'll be on the frontlines shaping strategy and delivering the kind of results that win awards and turn heads.
This role is fully remote, but the candidate must be based in New York or Los Angeles to support on-site events.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a key team member across press and influencer workstreams, owning programs with autonomy.
- Support daily client operations including announcements, media and creator relations, email communication, and weekly calls.
- Drive proactive media outreach to deliver a consistent cadence of high-quality, high-impact press hits across beauty, lifestyle, commerce, and business outlets.
- Build and execute integrated influencer and creator programs — sourcing, vetting, briefing, negotiating, and managing talent and their reps from gifting through paid partnerships.
- Provide strategic counsel on speaking and awards programs, thought leadership, creator strategy, and measurement, including reporting and recaps for both press and influencer activity.
- Develop written materials including press releases, pitches, briefs, briefing documents, fact sheets, talking points, and client correspondence.
- Maintain a sharp pulse on pop culture, media trends, and the creator landscape, identifying opportunities that amplify JGroup clients with press and tastemakers alike.
- Ideate, support, and execute events, including media and influencer relations, production, and staffing.
- Own influencer KPIs end-to-end: rate benchmarking, attribution basics, performance reporting, and platform fluency (CreatorIQ or similar).
- Modeling the JGroup values of resourcefulness, collaboration, and kindness.
Who You Are
- 3–4+ years of combined public relations and/or influencer marketing experience, with meaningful exposure to both press and creator workstreams. Level (AE vs. SAE) will be determined by depth of experience. Agency background preferred.
- Beauty, wellness, or lifestyle fluency. You know the editor landscape and have a point of view on the creators worth betting on and why.
- Strong relationships with beauty, lifestyle, commerce, and/or business press, plus comfort working with talent managers, agents, and platform reps.
- Excellent pitching skills with a proven track record of securing top-tier, high-impact coverage and meeting or exceeding press KPIs.
- Comfortable with the numbers. Fluent in influencer KPIs, rate benchmarking, attribution basics, and reporting, with proficiency in platforms like CreatorIQ.
- Strategic and detail-oriented. You can zoom out to come up with a big idea and zoom back in to catch a typo in a brief.
- Confident in client conversations, with polished executive presence and strong strategic instincts.
- Thrives in a boutique, fast-scaling environment where autonomy is valued and every role is critical.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Chronically online perspective welcomed. You’re fluent in the pace, nuance, and trends of the platforms we operate in, able to source talent quickly and thoughtfully when the brief gets specific.
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter with a positive, can-do spirit.
- Career-driven. You see press and influencer relations as a craft and a long-term path.
- Based in or near New York or Los Angeles.
