Registered Nurse (RN) - FT Days | San Antonio Med Center Rehab

Registered Nurse (RN) Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, or a Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Utilize nursing process to deliver patient care. Supervise and direct care for admitted patients. Interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning. Teach patients and families for post-hospitalization care. Access community resources as needed. Qualifications Current RN licensure in the state of the hospital (or compact licensure). Current BLS certification (required). ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment for all RN; for Charge Nurses BLS and ACLS required within 90 days. Preferred: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience; not required. Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. Education and Training Hold a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure. Mandatory BLS certification. Evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days. AHA approved BLS/ACLS within 90 days. Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses. #J-18808-Ljbffr PAM Health
