Senior Tax Accountant

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Mid-Sized CPA firm now looking to add an experienced Tax Senior to their thriving team. Do you have extensive Preparation experience, and some (or lots!) of review exposure? This could be your perfect role. This firm offer an excellent opportunities for future progression to Manager level and beyond, whilst working in a supportive team and partnering with a varied client base. The firm has multiple offices - this role is based from their Piscataway, NJ location on a hybrid basis. Candidates must be able to commit to 3 days per week in the office. Responsibilities Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns including: Partnerships (1065) S-Corporations (1120-S) C-Corporations (1120) Analyze financial data and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness Work with multi-entity client structures and K-1 reporting Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve issues, and follow up on open items Assist in identifying tax planning opportunities Manage multiple engagements and meet filing deadlines Conduct tax research and stay current on tax law updates Review work of junior staff and provide guidance as needed Qualifications 5+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong experience with 1040s, 1065s, 1120-S (among others) Exposure to high-net-worth clients Generalist background preferred (not highly specialized) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CPA license or actively pursuing Experience with CCH Axcess or similar tax software preferred On Offer Competitive salary ($100,000-$120,000) Excellent benefits package Paid Vacation, Personal Days, Sick Days and Holidays included #J-18808-Ljbffr
