Quick Facts: Location: Roanoke Rapids, NC Start Date: 05/12/2026 Duration: Ongoing/As needed Shift: Variable; day shifts, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Saturday (aligned with site needs) Hours/Week: Approx. 40 hours Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certifications: NC State Medical License, Board Certification, BLS, DEA, NC Certification (NP or PA) Experience: Minimum 12 months in urgent care or primary care settings Pay & Benefits: Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (plus mileage reimbursement up to 60 miles) Benefits: Competitive pay package, paid weekly via direct deposit Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2), sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Support from a dedicated team committed to your success What You’ll Do: Provide urgent care services, treating adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older) Perform minor procedures such as I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other procedures relevant to urgent care Triage and manage high patient volumes efficiently while maintaining excellent patient care standards Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR system Work independently as the sole provider in the center with support staff on-site Maintain positive patient interactions and collaborate with support staff to ensure high-quality care What You Need: North Carolina medical license with current board certification in either PA or NP (Family Nurse Practitioner) Minimum of 12 months of experience treating adults and pediatrics in urgent or primary care Proficient in Epic EMR, with ability to quickly adapt to training schedule Valid BLS certification, DEA registration, and NC state certification Soft skills such as professionalism, adaptability, and effective communication About the Assignment: Join a reputable urgent care center in Roanoke Rapids, NC, dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare to diverse community populations.
