What We Offer Starting Salary Range: $90,084.80 - $100,193.60 Additional Pay / Ability To Earn Additional Pay Of First Responder pay: $1,800.00 per year Pay based on performance: up to $8,000.00 per year Licensure pay: $250.00 per pay period (2 times per month) - No license required. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish and English, or other languages, as needed: $100-200 per pay period (2 times per month) for service provision to families. We are an approved National Health Service Corps site; to apply for student loan repayment or get information on this option, see Training And Supervision Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches and other areas Weekly supervision and daily support with your Clinical Supervisor, as needed. 12 paid holidays; plus 1 personal holiday each year! 3 weeks' vacation per year 12 sick days per year Medical, Vision, and Life Insurance (1x annual salary) Retirement Plans: 403-B Employee Savings Plan and an Employer Contribution Pension Job Summary Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention with CCS's Family Behavioral Health System provides a creative and innovative mobile crisis response to children and youth in the midst of a mental health crisis. The crisis clinician may meet with the child and family in a hospital emergency room, in community settings, or in the home. A mobile crisis clinician has a flexible work schedule to meet community crisis needs. Often both the child and parent are in distress, and the clinician must calmly listen with empathy while clinically assessing the situation. When responding to a child in an emergency department the crisis clinician works closely with family members and hospital staff so that the family experiences consistent, integrated care. Once all family members are ready to move forward, the clinician, youth, and parent(s) then develop a plan for safety and stabilization to allow the child to remain in the most normative environment possible (preferably the child's own home). WISe Team We provide family-oriented, strength-based mental health services for children and families in their own home and community. Clinicians participate in an on-call rotation with other Clinicians and Clinical Care Coordinators. Clinicians work flexible schedules based on the needs of those we serve, allowing for high-level collaboration, coordination, and intensive behavioral health services while encouraging creativity and needs-driven care. We strive to help children and families live together safely and securely with hope and promise. We serve as catalysts for change, offering new approaches and challenging long-standing service traditions in community behavioral health. These positions will be based at the Family Behavioral Health Salmon Creek office, located in North Vancouver. The role requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served in community-based settings and family homes. Employing a collaborative and creative approach, clinicians provide intensive services that achieve long-term safety and stability for families and communities. What We Are Seeking in a Candidate Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences, or an equivalent accredited degree. For the crisis position, the ability to implement Crisis Response Strategies. Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work effectively in multicultural settings. Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes. Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations. Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional, fixed 8-5, Monday through Friday, facility-based position. Ability to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities, discussed during screening. Must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment. Valid driver’s license & current automobile insurance, reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy.
