Cardiac/Medical/Surgical Step Down / 4 South Registered Nurse (RN)Welcome Home to Baxter Health’s 31-bed Cardiac Step-Down Unit, we are a family of highly-skilled caregivers, who provide optimal care to a diverse patient population. Our patient’s conditions range from low acuity to critically ill. We work together to treat individuals with cardiac acuities such as arrhythmias, congestive heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, and myocardial infarction. Our patient population also includes those with respiratory emergencies requiring Bi-PAP, aggressive pulmonary physiotherapy, and high-level monitoring. In addition, we also interface with patients facing a multitude of acute and chronic disease processes. ADN required. BSN Preferred.Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year experience preferred.BLS, ACLS required. PALS is encouraged, but not required.Ability to read, write and communicate effectively.
