School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Shelton, Connecticut A K‑12 educational facility in Shelton, CT, is seeking a skilled Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide contract services for the current school year. This role is ideal for an SLP with expertise in delivering speech and language support across a diverse student population. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists. Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic strategies to optimize outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support inclusive and effective communication services. Qualifications Valid Speech‑Language Pathologist license. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred. Experience working in a K‑12 school environment. Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage students and staff effectively.
