Cardiac Catheterization NurseShift: Monday – Friday; 7am to 5:30pm, 4 - 10 hour shifts. 7 - 10 call shifts per month, including weekends and holidaysWork Arrangement: On-SiteDepartment: Cath LabFacility: University Hospital – 1 Hospital Drive, Columbia, MOCompensation:Base Pay Range: $36.19 - $52.67 per hour, based on experience.Choose Between Sign-On Bonus -OR- Retention RewardsSign-On Bonus: $15,000Retention Rewards: Up to $15,000Relocation Support: Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away.Retention Reward (Option 1 ): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000.Student Loan Repayment (Option 2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000.Note: Details will be provided during the HR interview. Perform pre and post-procedure nursing services and patient monitoring.Operate medical and imaging equipment used in coronary, electrophysiology, and vascular interventional labs.Prepare patient and equipment for catheterization procedures by preparing the entry site, draping the patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting-up pressure transducers and tubing.Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers.Provide nursing care to patients according to departmental and critical care nursing standards.Educate patients and families about the patient's illness, their care, and treatment plan.May complete unit/department-specific duties as outlined in department documents.Required QualificationsMissouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.One (1) year of inpatient, acute-care, emergency room, or invasive procedure RN experience.Preferred QualificationsICU/CCU RN experience in arrhythmia and hemodynamic monitoring of patients in an acute-care setting.Cardiac Vascular Nursing Certification (RN-BC) certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
