Controls Systems Engineer - Optimization

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in building systems operation and control applications
• Ability to coordinate and integrate control strategies into the firms facility design workflow
• Capability to advise owners on operational practices and system optimization methods
• Familiarity with implementing quality procedures
• Ability to meet project deliverables and deadlines
• Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
• Minimum of 3 years of experience
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license from the State of Indiana is preferred, but not required

• Evaluate controls system performance for clients both on site and remotely
• Provide ongoing optimization support for building systems
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and performance
• Prepare cost estimates for controls upgrades
• Collaborate with energy engineers on savings calculations
• Observe and review system and control installation activities for design compliance
• Lead occupancy-phase processes to ensure systems operate properly by working with controls contractors, mechanical contractors, and construction managers
• Support owners during system operation training
• Review construction submittals related to engineering systems and control applications
