Job Description:

Blake Willson Group is seeking a Senior Grants Management Analyst to provide senior-level federal grants management expertise and advisory support to federal staff members. The successful candidate will support the full federal grant lifecycle, including program planning, application review, award administration, monitoring, amendments, closeout, compliance, and program evaluation. In this position, you will also:

• Advise federal staff on grant program planning, development, implementation, lifecycle administration, policy application, and program enhancements.
• Lead complex reviews of applications, progress reports, amendments, monitoring results, payment requests, closeout documentation, and recipient issues.
• Develop application criteria, review methodologies, technical guidance, desk aids, and evaluation-panel materials.
• Assess programmatic compliance, recipient performance, and grant-management risk, and recommend appropriate resolution and follow-up actions.
• Provide technical assistance to applicants and recipients and resolve escalated questions from frontline support staff.
• Support program evaluation through logic models, performance measures, data-collection approaches, and analysis of program effectiveness.
• Draft senior-level correspondence, decision materials, audit responses, and policy or procedure recommendations.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing federal grants across the full grant lifecycle, including program design, application review, award, monitoring, amendments, and closeout.
• 3+ years of experience conducting complex compliance and technical reviews and developing grant policies, criteria, procedures, and guidance.
• 3+ years of experience assessing recipient risk and performance and providing senior-level technical assistance, advisory support, writing, and facilitation.

Desired Skills:

• Experience advising program officials on federal grants management.
• Experience developing risk-based monitoring approaches, logic models, and performance measures.
• Experience interpreting federal grant requirements and translating them into practical procedures and guidance.
• Experience addressing unusual, complex, or sensitive grant-management matters.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
