Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $2210 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Missouri license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Must have experience with post-cardiac procedural care, including ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-op day 1 open-heart care, and permanent pacemaker placements. - Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and amiodarone.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 48 per week is an option. - Must work 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period.

Unit Details: - Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, SCD machines, Hill-Rom beds, Dinamap in each room, 3 Welch Allyn vital machines, wound vacs, temporary pacemakers, telemetry monitors, an EKG machine, bladder scanners, Doppler, and iMobile for communication between team members. - Procedures include IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, temporary pacemaker care, and Foley insertions.

Floating Requirements: - Contract nurses will be floated to any area where they have demonstrated competency.
