We offer a competitive salary that commensurates with experience and a yearly production bonus. Pro‑Sal pay options are also available for more experienced veterinarians. Responsibilities Perform routine and complex physical examinations on companion animal Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions across a variety of species Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans Administer vaccines, medications, and perform surgical procedures as needed Maintain accurate and thorough medical records using practice management software and AI assisting software Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care Collaborate with our DVM team members, veterinary technicians, assistants, and support staff to ensure high‑quality patient care Qualifications Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree from an accredited institution Active or eligible Illinois veterinary license in good standing DEA registration or ability to obtain one USDA accreditation or ability to obtain one Experience in a clinical veterinary setting preferred Strong diagnostic, surgical, and clinical skills aimed at reducing client cost of ownership Excellent communication and client relations skills Compassionate, team‑oriented, and committed to animal welfare Option for Part‑Time employment New veterinary graduates welcome with formal mentoring #J-18808-Ljbffr VCA Seaside Animal Hospital
