Job Title
Under the direction of the Bureau for Social Services' Director of Grants and Contracts, this position develops, monitors, and evaluates grants, contracts, and agreements for the delivery of services in a diverse range of human service settings. Provides specialized technical assistance and policy interpretation to grantees, contractors, and vendors. Assures grantee/contractor compliance with federal, state and local policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Develops and implements grant/contract policy within regulatory/statutory guidelines. Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of full time or equivalent part time paid or volunteer experience in child welfare casework, grants, accounting, finance, or program administration.
Internal Applicants Only: Three (3) years of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as an Accounting Specialist or Accounting Specialist, Senior may substitute for the required education and experience.
Substitution Information: Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
