Overtime: Salaried position. However, this candidate will typically work an average of 5-10 hours of overtime per week, which can add approximately $18,000-$30,000 to their annual compensation. There is also some flexibility in the base salary depending on how the interview process goes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC logic for automated machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.
• Perform system startup, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Assist with electrical wiring, panel modifications, and field installations as needed.
• Diagnose and resolve controls, electrical, and automation-related issues.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and system upgrades.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of PLC logic and troubleshooting. Experience with any major PLC platform is acceptable.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and control drawings.
• Hands-on electrical experience, including wiring and electrical construction activities.
• Comfortable working both in the field and on the programming side of projects.
• Willingness to travel extensively for installations, commissioning, and customer support.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Industrial automation or machine controls experience.
• Electrical panel troubleshooting and field service experience.
• Startup and commissioning experience in a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wood Dale, IL.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wood Dale,IL.
