Job Summary

The Administrative Assistant I supports the business unit by providing administrative services to assigned manager(s) and/or multiple departments. They are also called upon to provide receptionist duties.

Essential Functions

Daily activities may include but are not limited to:

• Coordinates and handles registration of events

• Creation of communication pieces, and reports in an accurate and efficient fashion

• Handles travel arrangements

• Backup to receptionist and/or Order Processing Representative

• Receives and handles communication within department(s) promptly and courteously

• Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma with some formal training in office processes

• 1 year of experience in positions that demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to deal with confidential materials, and ability to adjust to changing workflows and multiple deadlines

• Proficient and accurate keyboarding skills

• MS Windows and Office experience (Word & Excel)

• Customer Service Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS PowerPoint

• Associate's Degree in business
