Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for an Electrical Engineer (Systems & Subsystems Design) based out of Milpitas, CA. Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension) Pay Rate: $85/hr on W2
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical components, modules, and subsystems for complex systems. This role involves end-to-end ownership of the design lifecycle, from requirements and feasibility to testing and manufacturing handoff, ensuring high performance, reliability, and seamless system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical parts, modules, and subsystems
- Perform circuit, timing, thermal, and electrical load analysis, including FPGA modeling
- Develop schematics and detailed designs using tools such as OrCAD, PSpice, and FPGA platforms (Xilinx/Altera)
- Lead prototype development, testing, system integration, and validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Software, Optical, Systems, Manufacturing)
- Prepare technical documentation (design specs, test procedures, service manuals)
- Manage suppliers to ensure design requirements and quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues across development phases
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in electrical system design and analysis
- Proficiency with EDA tools (OrCAD, PSpice) and FPGA development platforms
- Experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
