Registered Nurse - TBI, Burns, and Transplant Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Rotating shifts of 12 hours, with both day and night schedules available.

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI), burns, and transplant cases. The role encompasses a variety of specialized medical treatments and patient management techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications for antiseizure management, insulin, and heparin.
• Assist with advanced procedures including chest tube management, CPAP/BiPAP administration, and tracheostomy care.
• Monitor and maintain feeding tubes, central lines, PICC lines, and ports.
• Provide care for patients undergoing wound management with devices such as WoundVac and drains.
• Deliver respiratory treatments and support for patients with lung conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient needs in hematology and oncology specialties.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in critical care nursing, particularly in TBI, burns, and transplant management.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
