As a pivotal member of our treatment team, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients as they navigate their mental health journeys.

This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work while supporting an outpatient clinic structure. Telehealth technologies are utilized in addition to in-person sessions to ensure comprehensive care delivery, allowing you to effectively reach and support your clients no matter their circumstances.

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health issues that may influence treatment.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating their goals and strengths to facilitate effective recovery strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions to help clients confront and challenge their distorted beliefs surrounding body image, eating habits, and self-worth.

• Guide clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills, empowering them to resist disordered eating behaviors.
\n
• Work closely with the broader treatment team, including psychiatrists and nutritionists, to synchronize care efforts and address each client’s holistic needs.
\n
• Provide psychoeducation for clients and their families to enhance their understanding of eating disorders, thus fostering a supportive recovery environment.

• Meticulously document client progress, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes in compliance with both legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case discussions, and ongoing professional development initiatives to expand your clinical expertise in eating disorder treatment.

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with eating disorders, which often intersect with other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will work to empower clients through tailored interventions, promoting a greater understanding of their behaviors and fostering a path toward recovery. Your expertise will help clients build resilience and improve their overall mental health.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Kansas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies specifically tailored for eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
\n
• In-depth understanding and sensitivity to the complex nature of eating disorders and their co-occurring conditions.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in mental health counseling, with a strong focus on eating disorders and related mental health issues.

• Experience in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes integrated care for optimal patient outcomes.

• Familiarity with using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth systems to manage client information and conduct remote therapy sessions.
