**Join Our Dynamic Team as a Medical Oncology Registered Nurse!** - Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to patients battling cancer? - Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? - Join a team of dedicated professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of our patients! **Key Responsibilities:** - Independently administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and injections as per provider orders. - Expertly access port-a-caths, PICC lines, and Hickman catheters. - Perform venipuncture and administer dressings for PICC and Hickman catheters. - Maintain accurate and concise records regarding patient conditions, treatments, medications, and responses to therapies. - Monitor and document all intravenous therapies and patient responses diligently. - Alert the Medical Oncologist or Nurse Practitioner of unusual occurrences and initiate emergency actions when needed. - Provide comprehensive education to patients, families, and caregivers on medications, treatments, side effects, and lifestyle adjustments related to their disease process. - Verify informed consent before administration of chemotherapy. - Demonstrate knowledge of proper handling, administration, and disposal of hazardous drugs and utilize PPE effectively. - Ensure a safe environment while complying with all policies and procedures. - Proficiently work with Epic EMR to document and manage patient information. - Perform other related duties as assigned. **Additional Details:** - Bed Size: 18 semi-private bays - Shift Information: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM - Minimum Years of Experience: 3 years **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
