Salary: $240,000 - $335,000

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm\n

\nAbout the Role:\n
\nThe San Francisco VA Health Care System is seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to serve as the Medical Director for the Community Living Center (CLC). This leadership role supports high-quality, Veteran-centered care within a dynamic interdisciplinary environment.\n
\n
\nKey Responsibilities:\n
\n• Provide clinical leadership for CLC providers and staff\n
\n• Oversee medical care delivery for CLC residents\n
\n• Support program development and quality improvement initiatives\n
\n• Ensure compliance with VA standards and accreditation requirements\n
\n• Collaborate with nursing, social work, rehabilitation, and administrative teams\n
\n• Participate in strategic planning for Geriatrics & Extended Care services\n
\n
\nQualifications:\n
\n• MD or DO degree\n
\n• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatrics preferred)\n
\n• Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.\n
\n• Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or post-acute care strongly preferred\n
\n• Leadership experience a plus\n
\n
