Housekeeping Aide

Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center Sayville, NY Pay Rate: $24.65 per hour Full-Time | Part-Time Opportunities Available Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aides to join our environmental services team. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors throughout the facility. This position plays an important role in ensuring resident satisfaction and supporting a high standard of cleanliness within our rehabilitation and nursing center. Responsibilities Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and facility spaces Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, and disinfect assigned areas Replenish supplies such as soap, paper products, and linens Properly dispose of trash and biohazard materials in accordance with facility procedures Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and facility needs Assist with laundry services as needed Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a clean and welcoming environment Qualifications Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred, especially in healthcare or long-term care settings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable, professional, and compassionate attitude Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices preferred Benefits Competitive compensation Health, dental, and vision insurance (for eligible employees) Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive and team-oriented work environment Why Join Luxor at Sayville Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
