Business Development Representative

About the Role We are seeking sales and growth professionals to join our Business Development team. This is a full-cycle BD role. You source your own prospects and run the conversation from first contact through to close. There’s no handoff to an account executive, the deals you find are the deals you close. This role is onsite at our Bellevue office. Responsibilities Identify and research prospective clients through market analysis, competitor research, and industry trends. Generate and qualify leads using outbound strategies, mainly through LinkedIn, supported by cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and networking at industry events. Run the full cycle: first contact, discovery, product walkthrough, close. Get new employers set up and posting, so their first experience is a good one. Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at target companies. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to create and execute prospecting campaigns and strategies. Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, lead status, and client interactions within CRM systems. Stay up to date on product developments and industry trends to effectively communicate value propositions to prospective clients. Represent the company at local events, conferences, and meetups to expand our network within the local technology ecosystem. Qualifications B2B sales, recruiting or SaaS experience is a plus, not a requirement. Comfortable on the phone and with hearing no. Curious about why something works, rather than waiting for a script. Good with ambiguity, we’re early and things change. Demonstrated success in prospecting, lead generation, and relationship building. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage 150-200 new prospects a week without dropping follow-ups. Technical aptitude and an interest in technology solutions. Prior experience with SaaS products or technology applications is a plus. Self-starter mentality with a results-driven approach and a passion for growing new business.
