Tractor Operator

Operate park tractors to prepare burn zones for the prescribed fire program. Maintain equipment and report needs for repair. Assist park rangers with park projects including road repairs and tree removal. Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, and nights as required. Requirements Valid Driver’s License Knowledge of environmental goals in preparing prescribed burn zones in natural habitats. Ability to operate and maintain tractors and assorted implements safely. Good operational judgement in maintaining park boundary lines. Prior experience in the operation and maintenance of equipment and implements preferred.
