Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: The Dalles, OR
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Shift: Nights
Schedule: 12-Hour Shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
• Perform detailed patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient responses to treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care goals.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Current AHA BLS Certification required.
• Recent Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience preferred.
• Strong critical care assessment and patient management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
