Description Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM 4-Day Workweek - Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday Off Production Castings, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Description Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM 4-Day Workweek - Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday Off Production Castings, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team on 2nd Shift . This position plays an important role in ensuring that our products meet established quality standards and customer specifications. The Quality Control Inspector performs product inspections, identifies and documents non-conforming material, and works closely with production employees, setup personnel, and supervisors to address quality concerns. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, and takes pride in ensuring that only quality products move through the production process. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform product inspections and approval activities according to established procedures and specifications. Inspect manufactured parts for dimensional, visual, and other quality requirements. Identify, document, and coordinate the disposition of non-conforming material. Perform specialized product inspections according to written work instructions. Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection requirements. Accurately record inspection results and quality-related information. Communicate quality concerns to production employees, setup personnel, supervisors, and other appropriate personnel. Provide guidance to production employees regarding part quality and inspection requirements. Help prevent defective or non-conforming products from continuing through the manufacturing process. Maintain an organized and accurate approach to inspection activities. Follow established safety, quality, and company procedures. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Previous quality control or manufacturing inspection experience preferred. Knowledge of inspection techniques, procedures, and measuring methods. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and written work instructions. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to identify and communicate product quality concerns. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively with production employees, setup personnel, supervisors, and management. Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned 2nd-shift schedule.
