Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join our team as a traveling Physical Therapist in Bristol, CT within an outpatient setting. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, document care, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to promote safe, effective return to community activities. You will participate in student education and professional development activities, adhere to state practice acts and organizational policies, and support patient and employee safety initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency with comprehensive patient evaluation, goal writing, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
• Ability to supervise and provide direction for discipline-specific therapy services and participate in student clinical education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel or per diem outpatient experience preferred.
• Experience with patient safety programs and safe patient handling techniques preferred.
• Active involvement in professional development and continuing education preferred.

Assignment Details

• Schedule pattern: 5x8.
