Prime Hospitality Group is seeking a Prep Cook to join the Ruth's Chris Steak House team. Job responsibilities Under the direction of the Sous Chef or Manager-on-Duty, the Prep Cook will prep, portion, prepare, and assemble all desserts and pastries offered in the restaurant. The Baker executes all food preparation and procedures to ensure that all food products meet the Ruth's Chris Steak House recipe specifications and quality standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience baking is required Restaurant Operations Aptitude/Mastery BOH: advanced knowledge of the stations and roles in a kitchen as well as all the equipment used in the kitchen Must be able to work with extreme temperature changes including working in a walk-in freezer of -10°F Must be able to lift, handle, and carry food, supply, smallwares, equipment, supplies and paper goods up to 50 pounds Must successfully complete restaurant training program and maintain a willingness to learn #J-18808-Ljbffr Workstream
