Gnutti Carlo is known for producing valvetrain and fuel injection components, complex aluminum diecast parts, and oil and coolant pumps.Scope & ResponsibilitiesWorking manager: lead, mentor, and train the CNC Maintenance Repair Technicians, and determine department manning and training needsCoach and administer discipline objectively; manage conflict and direct othersMaintenance of CNC machining centersHands-on troubleshooting and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment, including fixtures and hydraulics, using hand and power tools; fabricate or repair parts as neededPLC, Siemens controller, and electrical troubleshootingCreate, maintain, and record preventive maintenance on all machinesIdentify root causes of failures and implement corrective actionsMaintain the building, grounds, and property: structure, plumbing, heating/HVAC, plant electrical, compressed air and compressors, lawn care, snow removal, and security cameras (with IT). Keep the facility clean.Troubleshoot and repair facility issues; research and manage facility upgrades and plans that reduce operating costsManage the Lockout-Tagout program and training; own selected elements of the plant safety systemOwn plant environmental compliance, including proper handling of environmental wasteMonitor the facility to ensure quality standard requirements are metManage and execute the plant capital plan and budgetManage performance measurement and analysis systems within scope; bring continuous improvement ideas to reduce costsKey Selection Criteria5-7 years' Facilities & Maintenance experience in a production environment.Strong sense of urgency, thriving in a dynamic environmentAbility to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlinesStrong organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written skills to communicate appropriately at all levels of the businessCommitment to integrity and to the team, offering a participative and open styleLeadership skillsStrong work ethicHigh level of initiative and assertivenessAnalysis, judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skillsInterpersonal skills, with proven ability to act hands on and to work directly with the Operations teamStrong sense of ownership and accountability2-5 years of extensive experience in maintenance of CNC machining centers xhyhwjd 2-3 years of proven PLC and electrical troubleshooting experience2-3 years of proven fixture and troubleshooting experienceExperience with Siemens Controllers a plusMaintenance, electrical, plumbing & heating systems experience in an automotive manufacturing environmentEducation Requirements Minimum of a High school diploma or GEDBachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experienceFull proficiency of English LanguageBusiness Excellence Principles (Lean Manufacturing)Thorough understanding of TPM and/or Reliability Work Process including precision, preventive and predictive maintenance experienceMust be able and willing to work safely, including wearing and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Must have working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and the ability to learn various PC based production and operations applications
