Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 4 x 10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in a 2-OR and 1 procedure room (endoscopy) surgical suite handling a varied daily case load including General, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Urology, OB/C-Section, GYN, Pain Management, Cardiology (pacemakers, TEEs), and Endoscopy
• Provide care primarily for adult patients with occasional pediatric orthopedic or appendectomy cases
• Float to Pre-Op and PACU as needed, particularly during low case volume periods or to follow a case from OR to PACU on rare occasions
• Assist with department tasks, supply management, and other unit needs during low census periods
• Fulfill on-call obligations including one weeknight per week (5:00 PM – 6:30 AM), one weekend per month (Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 6:30 AM), and rotating major holiday call with core staff; 20-minute call response time required
• Document and chart using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of OR circulating experience
• Strong Orthopedic experience, including total joint procedures
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency or willingness to become proficient with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pre-Op and PACU experience, as floating to these areas is expected
• Endoscopy and/or Cardiology procedural experience
• Comfort with Cerner EMR to support an expedited orientation period
