Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical Telemetry

Location: Ottumwa, IA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist with patient assessments and develop care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have active RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS; ACLS is preferred but not required.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check including criminal and child abuse clearances.
• Ability to clear a 10-panel drug screening.
