Certified Respiratory Therapist

We Are Hiring Location: Pensacola, FL Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola Department: Respiratory Care Schedule: Day Shift | PRN What You Will Do Assess, plan, and implement care: Assess patient for appropriate treatment, develop a plan of care based on diagnosis, and implement and monitor the care plan and equipment. Monitor, communicate, and document: Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition while performing advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluate and educate: Evaluate respiratory practice, medications, and treatments based on patient outcomes, and educate the patient and family about health conditions and community programs. Manage equipment and inventory: Assist with the care, calibration, maintenance, cleaning/sterilization, and inventory levels of all department equipment and supplies. Respond to emergencies: Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Florida Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hiredate or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
