Api Engineer

Job Description We are undergoing a massive digital transformation focused on the API ecosystem and are looking for an experienced API Gateway Engineer to lead our API strategy around Apigee. Responsibilities Lead engineering efforts to deploy new features and conduct maintenance ensuring APIs are always operational. Design, build, and automate API gateways using SRE principles. Develop application software utilizing cloud-based architecture across the full stack of technologies. Manage migration efforts to limit blast radius, ensuring only small business segments are impacted during outages. Qualifications Intermediate level experience required. RESTful API development Strong communication and collaboration skills Understanding of customer needs Job Details Contract position based in Detroit, MI – hybrid workplace model.
