Responsibilities Develop detailed civil engineering designs and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D Create and manage alignments, profiles, corridors, grading, and surface models Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate and timely design deliverables Prepare plan and profile sheets, site plans, and utility layouts for civil infrastructure projects Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with construction documentation Review and redline drawings for quality control and compliance with project standards Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Requirements Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required 2+ years of experience in civil design or drafting Experience with land development, roadway, drainage, or utility design preferred Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design standards Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey data Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field preferred Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills About Us Concept Engineers Inc is a reputable civil engineering firm based in Houston, TX, known for delivering high-quality design solutions across a wide range of infrastructure and land development projects.
