We are proud to be recognized as an ethically based, service-oriented company that exceeds customers' expectations.Position location considered in an onsite office setting as well as hybrid/remote work eligible.Responsibilities and DutiesAbide by all Modular Genius, Inc. policies as found in the "Modular Genius, Inc. Employee Handbook"Maintain general ledger entries and reconcile accounts on a monthly basisAssist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsSupport job cost accounting and monitor construction project budgetsPrepare monthly insurance reportingCollaborate with project managers to track project-related financials including billing, WIP (Work in Progress) reporting, and change ordersPrepare and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsSupport certified payroll processing when applicableReconcile bank and credit card statementsAssist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reportingMaintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation entriesMonitor compliance with internal controls and accounting policiesProvide support during month-end and year-end close processesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives for financial systems and reportingQualifications and SkillsAssociates Degree or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Business Management a plus.2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction setting.Familiarity with modular construction, job costing, and percentage-of-completion revenue recognition a plusExperience using accounting systems, preferably Sage 300 CRE or Sage Intacct and Real EstateIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.Multi-tasker with an excellent focus on accuracy.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Must be self-motivated and have the ability to maintain confidentiality.Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.Job Type: Full-time Exempt401(k) with employer matchDental insuranceHealth insuranceVision insuranceEmployer paid life and disability insuranceHealth Savings AccountGenerous paid time offDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job title.
