Facilities Maintenance Technician

Facilities Maintenance TechnicianThe Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to the Facilities and Maintenance Director. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the company's facility operations, managing office moves, and other janitorial duties. Performs general cleaning, upkeep, and tasks as assigned. Upholds store operations by maintaining and repairing all equipment as necessary and are involved with new store development needs and landscape work. This position is a Gas Express, LLC - Circle K Atlanta designated safety sensitive position.Some functions include:Maintain parking lot striping, bollard, curb and fuel island paintingEnsure a safe working environment for employees and customersMaintain and work on plumbing as well as electrical items such as outlets and light switchesKeeps building ready for use by handling basic repairs and preventative maintenanceRepair & maintain/monitor all equipment and amenitiesOther duties as assigned.Qualifications:Experience not necessary but must have working knowledge of hand and electrical toolsOn the job training is providedKnowledge of general maintenance processes and methodsManual dexterity and problem solving skillsMust be able to work flexible hoursMust be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-taskAbility to push/lift 50 poundsAbility to climb laddersBending at the waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, and crouching as the job may requireAbility to work in extreme temperaturesWorking around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, and paintsPosition will service multiple locationsThis is a full-time position. Work week may be up to and exceed 55 hours per week
