About This Role The Per Diem Clinical Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse responsible for providing safe, competent quality care to a designated group of patients. This role is ideal for nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality patient care based on nursing theory and research. Highlights Pay : $86/hour Location : New York, NY Facility : Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit : GP 5 West MICU - MSH Schedule : Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care incorporating the tenets of Relationship Centered Care. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in nursing care delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on care plans. Prioritize patient care aspects including teaching and planning after hospital care. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
