Customer Service Representative - Industrial Logistics

Responsibilities Greet and process incoming truck drivers, ensuring timely check-in and dock flow Coordinate and schedule inbound and outbound shipments, including pickups and deliveries Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email Provide accurate updates regarding shipment status, scheduling changes, and order details Maintain detailed and accurate records, including driver logs, shipment documentation, and customer communications Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment Address routine issues, elevate concerns as needed, and contribute to smooth daily operations Requirements Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Dependable with a strong sense of accountability and follow‑through Proficient in phone, email, and basic digital communication tools Basic computer skills, including data entry and record management High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in warehousing, logistics, or transportation environments preferred Familiarity with driver check‑in procedures and dock operations preferred Experience with scheduling systems or warehouse management software (WMS) preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced logistics environment.
