ONEOK is hiring a Manager, Construction in Midland, Texas to lead and develop a team of construction coordinators overseeing pipeline, plant, and compressor station construction activities. We’re seeking an experienced leader with 10+ years of experience with 49 CFR Part 192 (DOT 192) regulated assets, strong technical expertise, and a proven ability to develop teams, solve complex problems, collaborate across organizations, and adapt to evolving business needs. (Compliance, Quality, Safety, Environmental)Ensure Construction Management has up to date information of expectations and has the tools needed for execution.Coordinate with Project Management leadership, Compliance and Project Controls to ensure documentation needs are being met and consistent for all projects.Plan, schedule and prioritize multiple projects and ensure effective and efficient deployment and productivity of equipment utilization, ensure employees and contractors yield high quality results, complete projects on time and within budget.Identify measures for contractor performance and vetting.Ensure teams have appropriate engagement and property rights within the project process Engage with Project Management leadership to improve processes in the field and drive efficiencyEvaluate the need for staffing based on forecasted projects and needs Evaluate Construction Management engagement at different levels of the project processProvide technical assistance to management, governmental and regulatory agencies, company attorneys, and industry publications on matters related to projects and operations, policies, construction procedures, contracts, material selection, governmental/regulatory rules and regulations.Evaluate the need for training of personnel at the appropriate levelsResponsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Experience with construction and/or maintenance project experience and knowledge of project execution.
