Responsibilities Executive Producer for EVENTS is a hands‑on operational leader responsible for driving excellence in production execution and advancing enterprise production capabilities across assigned areas of responsibility. This role supervises all Enterprise Event Production staff on the Arizona campuses and partners closely with the manager to translate enterprise strategy into operational execution. By engaging directly with teams, workflows, and production environments, the Executive Producer reinforces production standards through active leadership, drives innovation and consistency across the organization, and ensures high‑quality production services are delivered. The Executive Producer will assist the Video Production Unit Head with administrative direction and planning, coordinate day‑to‑day operations across multiple work groups, manage project budgets, schedule tasks, and handle high‑level administrative, logistical and technical duties in the pre‑production and production of live and scripted programs. Responsibilities include working independently, managing multiple large projects simultaneously, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring customer needs and expectations are met. Must be located within 100 miles of the Mayo Clinic campus in Phoenix, AZ as this is a hybrid position with occasional on‑site expectations based on business needs. Qualifications • Twelve (12) years’ corporate video production experience or an associate degree in a media‑related field and a minimum of ten (10) years’ corporate video production experience required. • A bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in a media‑related field and a minimum of eight (8) years’ corporate video production experience preferred. Must possess high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with senior Mayo Clinic personnel and external professionals. Demonstrated skills in script development and review, mentoring, resource management, team collaboration, and understanding of Mayo’s committee structure are required. Proficiency in all aspects of studio and field television production, including camera, lighting, editing, and management of large video crews, is essential. Proven problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to translate ideas of medical professionals into finished high‑quality programs, are also necessary. Authorization to work and remain in the United States without the need for future sponsorship. This is a hybrid position requiring residence within 100 miles of the Phoenix, AZ campus for occasional on‑site expectations.
